March 22-28,2002- Ralph Godfrey, the president of RGC attended the NATIONAL OAK FLOORING MANUFACTURERS ASSOCIATION, (NOFMA) Hardwood Flooring Installation School, in Memphis Tennessee. This school is the leading educator in the wood flooring industry. NOFMA sets all national manufacturing and performance standards regarding wood flooring material for the American wood flooring industry.

The March 22 course was a prerequisite for any inspector planning to attend the inaugural Certified Wood Flooring Inspectors Certification course. This Certification is the first inspection certification to be developed by the combined efforts of manufacturers, distributors and active members of any flooring association, in the history of the American flooring industry. The Inspectors Certification course will be held in Memphis during November 2002. Eventually, only inspectors attaining this credential will be commissioned to perform accredited and certified wood flooring inspections.
